Originally from Sheffield, Simon has followed an independent path, creating music that values honesty, melody and emotional connection above all else.
What began as a personal recording project has grown into a body of work spanning six albums. Over the years, his songwriting has become increasingly reflective, exploring love, loss, gratitude and the passing of time.
His latest album, Elapsing Light, strips everything back to voice, guitar and a single microphone. It traces a journey from darkness towards hope.
